In this abstract, we discuss a Phase 1, open-label, two-period, sequential study to assess the effects of carvedilol phosphate on the pharmacokinetics of colchicine oral solution in healthy adult subjects.

The primary objective of the study was to compare the pharmacokinetic (PK) variables of plasma colchicine after a single oral dose of colchicine solution. The secondary objective was to assess the safety and tolerability of a single oral dose of colchicine solution.
