Meet our newest members of the Clinical team
Frontage is excited to announce four new strategic positions have been filled to support expanding clinical operations in Secaucus, NJ. Each new acquisition has a doctorate degree with extensive experience and will bring core strengths to Frontage’s growing team.
Dr. Jenny Wang joined Frontage on December 16th as Project Manager & Clinical Scientist. She will manage clinical projects and provide clinical scientific support on the design of study protocols and be involved in the PK, PD and safety analyses and interpretation of study results. Dr. Wang has more than 15 years of experience as a clinical scientist and project team leader having advanced multiple compounds into and through clinical development. She has broad knowledge about bioanalytical methods, clinical trials, and has been a hands on pharmacokineticist and clinical scientist. She received her BS degree in Pharmacy from Shanghai Medical University and her PhD degree in Chemistry from Arizona State University. She is also a licensed registered pharmacist in the State of New Jersey.
Dr. Elena Avetisova joined Frontage on January 4th as Medical Project Manager & Clinical Scientist. She will manage clinical projects, providing clinical and medical input into the design of study protocols, medical affairs support, and will administer staff trainings. She will be involved in safety analyses, dose escalation meetings, and clinical/medical interpretation of study results in conjunction with our clinic team. Dr. Avetisova has more than 10 years of diverse, international experience working as a medical manager, financial manager, sales manager, and project team leader. Dr. Avetisova earned her Medical Doctor degree and completed a clinical internship in Internal Medicine at Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia.
Dr. Ken Yin joined Frontage on January 4th as Senior Clinical Pharmacokineticist. His responsibilities will be to provide clinical pharmacokinetic input into the design of study protocols, pharmacokinetic analysis, and PK/PD and population modeling analyses in support of clinical studies. Dr. Yin has more than 20 years of experience working as a preclinical and clinical researcher and scientist. Dr. Yin earned his Medical degree and Master of Science degree, Pharmaceutics in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Temple University School of Pharmacy.
Dr. Corazon De La Pena joined Frontage on January 6th as a Project Manager. She will manage clinical projects and provide input into the execution and management of clinical trials. She will be involved in the design of clinical protocols, will provide clinical and medical input into issues relevant to the studies, and will be involved in safety analyses, dose escalation meetings, and clinical/medical interpretation of study results. Dr. De La Pena has 20 years of clinical research experience working as a project manager, clinical research coordinator, and research scientist. She earned a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Psychology from the University of Santo Tamos, Manila Philippines and her Medical Doctor degree from the Davao Medical School Foundation in Davao City, Philippines.
