Frontage Laboratories Is Pleased to Welcome Dr. Peter Boldingh, PharmD., as Senior Vice President, Clinical Services
EXTON, Pa., July 20, 2026 – Frontage Laboratories, Inc. (“Frontage”), a leading global CRO/CDMO, is pleased to welcome Dr. Peter Boldingh (“Pete”), as Senior Vice President, Clinical Services, bringing more than 25 years of clinical research, clinical operations, and healthcare leadership experience. He has extensive expertise in early-phase clinical development, having led the successful execution of hundreds of Phase I clinical studies supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and generic drug development programs. Pete reports directly to Dr. Abdul Mutlib, Chief Strategy and Scientific Officer.
Prior to joining Frontage, Pete served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Axis Clinicals, where he was responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of early-phase clinical research activities. His responsibilities included study feasibility, protocol review and development, volunteer recruitment and screening, study conduct, pharmacy operations, sponsor engagement, quality management, and regulatory compliance. He also played a key role in expanding organizational capabilities, including the implementation of specialized clinical research technologies and services.
Earlier in his career, Pete held progressive leadership roles in clinical operations, pharmacy services, and clinical research. He has served as a Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator on approximately 800 clinical studies spanning Phase I through Phase IV research and has extensive experience supporting sponsors through complex clinical development programs.
Pete is recognized for his operational excellence, collaborative leadership style, and ability to build high-performing teams that deliver quality, compliance, and executional efficiency. His deep understanding of early clinical development, combined with his pharmacy and clinical research expertise, will further strengthen Frontage’s clinical services capabilities and support the company’s continued global growth strategy.
Pete received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from North Dakota State University. His extensive experience spanning clinical research, pharmacy leadership, and early-phase clinical operations provides a strong foundation for advancing Frontage’s commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative drug development solutions to clients worldwide.
