| Full time employee in the Frontage animal facility. Conducts dosing, sampling, planning/preparation, documentation and reports pertinent to rodent PK and mass balance studies. Protocol reading and writing as needed. Laboratory animal surgery and post-operative care, veterinary staff consultation, cursory necropsy and euthanasia of small laboratory animals. Conducts automated and manual blood sampling procedures.
Laboratory animal surgeries including performing bile duct cannulated/vascular surgeries in rats for regulated and non-regulated studies.Conducts ADME non-GLP and GLP studies with non-labeled and radiolabeled compounds.
Understands IACUC-related concepts and is familiar in AAALAC standards for laboratory animal care and use. Biological matrix sample collection and weighing, pipetting and labeling. Trains other colleagues in the above

|Work Experience Requirements|
|Experience in handling live small animals for dosing, sampling and observation. Surgery experience a plus. Familiarity with AAALAC and Animal Welfare Act regulations and Guidelines. AALAS certification at RLAT or above preferred. Ability to work within specified timelines. Flexible and able to manage time. Ability to stand or walk majority of the day and be able to lift 40 lbs. Speaks, reads and writes English.
