Biomarker Assay Development and Validation
A biomarker is a substance used as an indicator of a biologic state. It is a characteristic that can be objectively measured and evaluated as a sign of pharmacologic responses to a therapeutic intervention.
At Frontage, scientists with years of assay development and method validation experience provide characterization of biomarkers and biological drugs using post-translational modification (PTM) analyses including phosphorylation, nitration, lipidation, glycosylation and methylation.
Each project is assigned a team of one to three scientists, depending on the size and complexity. With a capacity of up to 5,000 samples per month, typical turnaround times are approximately one week for method development, three weeks for method validation and approximately one week for the QC/QA-reviewed report.
